A Message from our Executive Director
We are excited to share with our friends all the great things we accomplished in 2018. Check out our 2018 Annual Report for a look at all the inspiring programming and projects that have been taking place at all four of our incredible historic houses. You might be surprised at what you find.
While we are growing, after reading the 2018 annual report you might be amazed to know just how small a professional staff we have at PhilaLandmarks. While each of our houses has live-in site managers, our office staff consists of five full-time employees—executive director, office administrator, Road Scholar director, development/programs manager, and Grumblethorpe operations manager —along with a part-time private rentals coordinator and part-time Grumblethorpe education coordinator That’s it. All of our Grumblethorpe educators are grant-funded positions. Meaning, if grants don’t come through, those positions go away. Of course we have the amazing support of our house committee members as well, along with an occasional intern. But that’s a lean staff, anyway you look at it.
With a contribution to our Annual Fund TODAY, YOU can help us to continue to build our internal capacities. We made great strides in fiscal year 2018. Hiring a development and programs manager, operations manager at Grumblethorpe and a private rentals coordinator was huge for us!
We LOVE to inspire people to engage with history. Won’t you join us?
